Marissa has been working as a Physical Therapy Aide for one year. Graduating from Bergen Community College with an Associate in General Science, she is now in her senior year at Montclair State University studying for a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. Marissa loves working at Flex Physical Therapy because the role as an aide allows her to bond with each patient, enhancing each patient’s treatment through individual connections she creates with them. She strives to make each patient’s experience at physical therapy as enjoyable and stress free as possible by providing them with friendly and nurturing care. Marissa is very family-oriented and loves the outdoors. In her free time she could be found hiking, swimming, or camping with friends and family.
Following her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, she hopes to pursue a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, dreaming of being able to help improve the quality of everyday life of wounded and disabled war veterans.
